Hi, my name is Ron Yue. Thank you for visiting my wedding photography website. Though I was initially trained as a chartered accountant and actually remained in the industry for a while, years ago I realized that one of the keys to success and happiness is to do something you really love, and so, I put down the calculator, and picked up the camera and converted my passionate hobby into a full-time profession.

Throughout the years, I’ve photographed weddings from small intimate gatherings to banquets of more than 500 people. Some of my clients mention that they have never seen anyone enjoy their job more than I do. That’s important to me. I love being around people and if I’m having fun, my clients, and their guests tend to as well. Everyone becomes more relaxed and you’ll get far better photographs that way.

I’m also known as a documentary and adventure travel photographer. I believe that if you can do a few things that are related, but not too many, it brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to each one of those skills, and improves you even more. It’s kind of like cross training.

My photography style is predominantly journalistic. I document the day’s events as they unfold from the eyes of a dedicated, but unobtrusive observer. This style of reportage photography results in more natural and spontaneous photos, revealing the entire unique story of each couple’s wedding day.

Great photographs are like a blueprint of your life. Those moments that are seemingly forever buried in your mind’s deep storage, instantly become alive again when a photographic reminder is placed in front of the eyes. For me, there are few things in life more powerful than that.
