Ron has a reputation for producing exceptional quality images with a natural, photojournalistic style, documenting weddings from small intimate gatherings to banquets of over 500 people. With an outgoing personality and professional approach, Ron ensures that your wedding photography will not only be productive, but a thoroughly enjoyable experience as well.

How would you describe your style of wedding photography?

My wedding photography is a blend of photojournalism, still life, and portraiture. I work in an unobtrusive manner, allowing the day's events to unfold in a natural process. I'm always looking for the tiny, spontaneous moments that are not obvious - little smiles, quick glances, or quiet interludes - that often result in the most emotional and powerful images of the day. It is about documenting as a witness to the day, story telling, and capturing the moments that define the spirit of the people I am photographing.

What advice can you provide during the consultation meetings?

Planning your wedding is as important as the actual day itself. Although for the majority of the day I am working in a documentary style rather than artificially controlling the day, there are small details that you can incorporate into the wedding planning so that you can maximize the best photo opportunities without disrupting the natural flow of events. I work with my clients to ensure that they understand the organization and requirements to obtain certain photographs. After you have viewed samples during our consultation meeting and gained an idea of the style of photos you are looking for, I will provide guidance on the best way to structure your day. There can be a fine line between getting good vs great images and some helpful advice can make a world of difference.

Do you provide video services?

I regularly work with a video production company that specializes in filming and producing wedding videos that complement my photography style.

What after sales service do you provide?

I don't believe in keeping copyright to the photographs. After the wedding day, all photographs are reviewed in detail, and colour and contrast adjustments are applied as necessary in order to master the files for the printing process. All final files are provided to you on DVD so you can view and print them out as many times as you like. Of course, my team also produces excellent quality prints and a range of fantastic albums. We work with you to choose photos and design a layout for your albums so that it is your very own storyboard that you, your family, and friends can enjoy.
