Jan 2009:

Ron was working on a project at the spectacular mountain rice terraces in south central Yunnan Province in China. Feb 2008:

Sept 2007: Journey Across the Middle Kingdom

Ron recently completed a lengthy documentary assignment across China and Tibet with author Peter Schindler. The project, based on chance encounters and conditions, was sponsored exclusively by Nokia, and provided an opportunity to uncover some of the lesser known stories in the world's third largest country. April 2007:

Ron worked with the National Geographic Channel and Sony on photo shoots in Vietnam and Hong Kong that were designed to provide feedback and explore the capabilities of Sony's new entries into the digital SLR camera market. Following the successful shoots, he spoke to audiences in Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia. The lectures were aimed to help amateur photographers improve their photographic skills and were centred around the visual exploration, anticipation, and mental mindset required in order to produce a meaningful photograph.
