ABOUT RON YUE
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, and now currently based in Hong Kong, Ron will go practically anywhere to capture the elusive image. Originally trained as a chartered accountant, he now uses his diverse photography skills and extensive outdoor experience to produce stunning photographs for his clients. His work has taken him from the torrid 52C degree heat of Death Valley to the frozen tundra of Alaska, from the jungles of southeast Asia to the open expanse of the Tibetan plateau, from the tips of urban communications towers to the summit of remote peaks in western China, and from company boardrooms and wedding ballrooms to chasing adventure racing teams through river valleys, into caves, and over mountains.
In recent years, he has worked for The National Geographic Channel on projects in Vietnam and Hong Kong, and he spent 2 months traveling in remote areas of Tibet and across 13 provinces in China on a documentary assignment for Nokia.
Ron's images shape an emotional response to a time and place, and inspire by creating a sense of excitement and wonder. They are both natural, dramatic and capture a definitive moment. His photographs are regularly found in major electronic and printed media around the world.
